Interiors by Bridget offers full-scale residential interior design services for homeowners and builders. Rooted in technical knowledge of spatial planning and construction, our systematic approach first considers the function and efficiency of the space. Then, we design with clean lines and soft details to make each interior feel cozy, contemporary and uniquely yours.
MEET THE FOUNDER & LEAD DESIGNER
BRIDGET DESROCHES
Having a mother who worked in fashion design in New York City, Bridget grew up feeling determined to follow suit. But, she was encouraged to pursue a different career – particularly one within an industry that was budding – and so, Bridget wound up working in computer systems instead. After fifteen years in the technology industry working for Fortune 500 companies in a highly process and function-oriented role, Bridget listened to her instincts and switched gears in pursuit of a more creative, albeit still process-driven, role.
She obtained a degree in Residential Interior Design and hinged on her technical abilities to launch an e-design business in 2013, whereby clients could virtually design rooms and order all of the elements to bring their designs to life in one fell swoop online. Over time, Bridget began to receive inquiries from local clients seeking in-person site visits and design expertise for their homes.
Interiors by Bridget has since evolved into a full-service interior design firm with a strong technical foundation, focused on creating functional, contemporary spaces with a bright and sophisticated aesthetic.
Bridget holds a BBA in Computer Information Systems and Communications from Baruch College, as well as a degree in Residential Interior Design from the Art Institute. She is proudly on the board and the Director of Membership for the American Society of Interior Designers of New England.

We start each project from our foundational aesthetic: modern, bright, and clean. Then, we incorporate personal and eclectic pieces that hold meaning – marrying elegance and warmth as we go. At IBB, we like to play with texture and soft details, conscious not to over-pattern and overwhelm a room. In the end, our combination of clean lines and earthy elements ensure that when you walk into your space, you feel an abundant sense of calm.
